Todd moved to Wyoming in 1980 and began his surveying career with Inberg-Miller Engineers of Riverton, WY surveying mining claims in Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada and Idaho. Todd also worked in western Wyoming and eastern Idaho as a seismic surveyor for several oil exploration firms and as a cadastral surveyor with the US Forest Service. Todd returned to school in 1985 attending Montana State University in Bozeman to pursue a civil engineering degree and fulfill the necessary requirements for licensure as a professional land surveyor. Upon graduation in 1987 Todd returned to Jackson to work for Jorgensen Engineering as a field surveyor. He received his Wyoming Professional Land Surveyor registration in 1993 and Idaho registration in 1994. Todd assumed the duties of Survey Manager for Pierson Land Surveys in 1994, supervising the field staff and drafting department. Todd started On Sight Land Surveyors, Inc. in 1999 with his wife, Jennifer Ziegler. The firm now employs a staff of 8 and performs approximately 200 surveys per year. Todd and Jennifer are also very busy raising two teenage daughters. back to top

Jennifer moved to the Jackson area in 1990 and worked for 6 years as a faculty instructor at the Teton Science School. In 1996 Jennifer began work for the US Forest Service, Bridger-Teton National Forest, performing vegetation inventories for integration into a forest management GIS system. Jennifer began her land surveying career in 1998 as a draft person for Pierson Land Surveys. Jennifer’s responsibilities at On Sight Land Surveyors, Inc. include managing plat and map production and coordinating submittals for subdivisions, building permits, and water rights applications. Jennifer’s specialty is projects that require the incorporation of a variety of information types, such as digital aerial photography and GPS data. She has also worked on mapping popular hiking/biking and skiing trails in the Jackson Hole area. Jennifer's interests and hobbies include Nordic ski racing, backcountry skiing, trail running, and knitting. back to top

Jona has worked for On Sight since May 2005. Prior to moving to Jackson in October 2004, Jona worked as a hydrologic technician for the US Geological Survey in Massachusetts. He is especially interested in GIS and its applications to environmental issues.
In his free time, Jona enjoys backcountry skiing, mountaineering, and biking. back to top

George began working for On Sight in August 2005. He is interested in all aspects of surveying, particularly GPS applications.
George has lived in Jackson with his wife, Val, since 1993. He served in the US Navy from 1967 to 1974. Subsequently, he worked in the Nuclear Power Industry at the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory. George's interests include hiking, biking, cross-country and skate skiing, and spending time with his grand children. back to top
